Tier 1 Technical Support Analyst
Purpose: Perform systems administration and support tasks Analyze, document, test, maintain, troubleshoot PC hardware/software Assist with IT support projects
Key Responsibilities: Provide in-person IT support to walk-in users Reinstall OS images and update computers Replace broken desktop/laptop hardware Ensure repaired computers are updated and functional Escalate complex service requests appropriately
Essential Functions (Approximate % of Time):
Distinguishing Characteristics: Entry-level position in Technical Support Analyst series Performs routine tasks with direct supervision Used as a training role; limited prior experience required
Required Competencies: Human Collaboration Skills: Provide advice, solve problems, persuade for cooperation Reading: Intermediate (manuals, documentation, etc.) Math: Intermediate (fractions, percentages, measurements) Writing: Intermediate (reports, business letters, summaries) Additional Notes: Regular and predictable attendance required
Temporary: 6 months, could be extended
Full-time Monday - Friday 8:30am - 5pm
On-site downtown (121 S, Tejon St.)
Pay rate $24.02/hour - $28.84/hour (depending upon experience)
