Quality Tech

Primary Responsibilities:

• Following defined work instructions and criteria, perform receiving inspection on a variety of product
• Perform visual and physical inspections of units and subassemblies
• Pull sample size (AQL) according to defined criteria
• Verify purchase order and quality system requirements are met
• Document and report any discrepancies
• Ensure any gauge or instrument used for inspection is calibrated and within the due date.

Supporting Responsibilities:

• When receiving que is clean, provide assistance with the RMA process such as documentation, inspection, and review
• When requested, support warehouse shipping activities by performing independent verification/ accuracy review of picked orders.
• When requested, support engineering testing activities such as inspection/ review of test articles.
• Supporting other areas as needed.

Skill, Qualifications, and Related:

• Able to operate electric hand saw for destructive inspection, following all defined safety measures
• Able to operate hand-held cutters for destructive inspection, following all defined safety measures
• Able to operate bench vise to securely hold articles for inspection
• Able to read graduated cylinders
• Able to use and read gauges such as calipers, micrometers, tape measures, and digital weight scales
• Able to understand detailed chemical test instructions
• Able to read SDS and other instructions to safely handle and use a variety of chemicals for inspection
• HS diploma and 2 or more years of inspection-related experience, preferably in a medical device or other regulated industry
• Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations (add, subtract, fractions, decimals, unit conversion)
• May require standing/walking, lift/carry up to 40lbs, bending/twisting, kneeling/squatting/crawling, reaching, grasping/gripping/pinching/fine manipulation
• Once tasking assigned, able to work semi-independently is preferred
• Acceptable driving record

Motor vehicle report required for driving to another worksite 5 minutes away

Contract 3-4 months

30-40 hours per week

Monday through Friday

7:30am-4:30 pm

Pay=$25-$28/hr
