Process Engineering Technician

Job Description
The Process Engineering Technician is a highly skilled technician that will be responsible for responding to issues in an integrated assembly line (Wafer Grind, Wafer Dice, Flux Printing, Reflow, Clean, Optical Inspection/AOI, Mold, and Singulate). The technician is empowered to make minor equipment and parameter adjustments within specified limits and keeps the production running at high uptime, escalating issues to engineering as necessary.
Responsibilities
- Create and execute a daily plan of action given production priorities and inventory availability using applicable operating and maintenance procedures
- Run engineering tests, compile data and complete Engineering Reports
- Assist engineering with troubleshooting equipment and process issues
- Perform hands on tasks on a variety of toolsets (recipe loading, running experiments)
- Maintain log sheets and SPC charts as specified or required by product and toolset
- Maintain and improve a 6S (5S + Safety) environment
- Work with engineering to evaluate, prioritize and implement continuous improvement projects
- Successfully communicate all activity per shift via daily pass downs, checklists, etc.
- Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Associate Degree in Engineering, preferably with knowledge in Electronics/Electrical/Mechanical/Industrial/ or Mechatronics or equivalent experience
- 5 years minimum work experience in Semiconductor Assembly or PCB Assembly environments
- Ability to setup and run high speed flip chip machines, mold equipment, automated dicing saws, grinders, screen printers and AOI systems.
- Ability to do advanced troubleshooting on the above equipment and escalate to engineering when necessary.
- Knowledgeable in MS Excel, Word, Power point and Outlook.
- Knowledgeable in SPC and 5S and lean manufacturing concepts.
- Preferred to have experience with Disco Grinders, Disco Saws, Screen Printers, Flip Chip equipment, AOI (Automated Optical Inspection) systems, Shear and Mold equipment
- Experience in Lean Manufacturing environment preferred.
- Proven ability to work independently with minimal supervision and effectively manage time and priorities.
Contract to Direct
All Shifts (12 hour schedules)
Pay=$23.75-$26.75
