Role Overview
The Special Loan Supervisor is responsible for overseeing and managing a specific category or type of loans within the organization. This role requires expertise in assessing, approving, and monitoring loans, as well as ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
Essential Duties:
- Oversee a designated portfolio of loans and ensure proper risk assessment and mitigation.
- Monitor the performance of loans, identifying potential issues, and implementing corrective actions.
- Conduct thorough risk assessments for Servicing.
- Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies.
- Ensure that all loan activities comply with regulatory requirements and internal policies.
- Stay informed about changes in regulations affecting the lending industry.
- Work closely with other departments, such as underwriting, legal, and compliance, to ensure smooth loan processing.
- Prepare and present reports on loan portfolio performance, trends, and risk factors to senior management.
- Provide guidance and training to junior loan officers or team members.
Qualifications, Experience & Knowledge
- Bachelor's degree in finance, business, or a related field. Advanced degree (MBA) may be preferred.
- Several years of experience in loan management, with a focus on the specific type of loans relevant to the organization.
- In-depth knowledge of lending regulations, risk management, and financial analysis.
- Strong analytical and decision-making skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Physical Requirements
- Stationary position; prolonged periods at a desk and working on the computer.
- Occasional movement about inside the office to walk to offices and office machinery.
- Occasional lifting up to 10 pounds, must be able to push, pull, pull up, bend at the knees and waist, twist body at the waist, raise and hold arms overhead, turn head-neck-shoulders as needed, grasp and hold tools and other items with hands, for either extended periods of time or many times throughout the workday.

Schedule: Monday to Friday 8am to 5pm
Pay: $85,000 to $90,000 (Exempt)
