Mechanical Engineer/Designer

Job Summary: Be responsible for converting our Engineers' designs into technical drawings and plans. Think strategically about our business and customers' success, work in collaboration across departments and teams to deliver exceptional customer satisfaction to a growing list of global customers.

The essential functions of the position:
Work from rough sketches and specifications created by engineers.

Design machined, molded, and formed parts and assemblies

Created detailed layouts, assemblies and detailed manufacturing for new applications using SolidWorks

Design products using proven and advanced engineering and manufacturing techniques

Create or revise accurate, detailed SolidWorks CAD models, drawings, and other engineering documentation as required

Specify dimensions, tolerances materials, and procedures for new products, machines

Work Skills and Education Required:

Associate degree in mechanical design or drafting.

1 years of drafting in a manufacturing or engineering industry experience

SolidWorks and Mfg tolerance experiences

Familiarity of FARO-ARM Technology

Contract to Direct

Monday thru Friday

Core hours 7:30am-4pm, must be flexible to work outside these hours based on project deadlines

Pay=$25-$35/hr
