Job Description
CNC Swiss Lathe Machinist- 2nd shift
Prior Experience Desired:
Minimum 1 years of operating and set-up experience on CNC machines
Familiar with statistical process controls (SPC)
ESSENTIAL/MAJOR ELEMENTS OF POSITION
Sets up, programs and operates CNC/Swiss Lathe machines.
Produces medical housings in a timely manner in accordance with blueprints, sketches,
and work orders with minimal supervision.
Inspects and measures micro parts with general measuring devices and makes machine
offset adjustments.
Occasionally, the incumbent will be asked and expected to perform various,
miscellaneous, and non-standard duties as required. Such duties are diversified in nature
and may be changed from time to time to suit the needs of the company.
Skills, Knowledge and Abilities Necessary to Successfully Perform this Position:
Ability to handle small parts
Able to read and write English
Basic math and the ability to read blue prints and work orders
Good communication skills
Solid troubleshooting skills
Education Level Desired:
High School Diploma or GED
Prior Experience Desired:
Minimum 1 year of operating and set-up experience on CNC machines
Familiar with statistical process controls (SPC)
2nd shift hours are current M-F 3:30pm-3:00am
Contract to direct
Pay= $21/hr-$29/hr DOE
