Business Support Specialist
We are looking for a someone to do data entry duties, asset tracking, budget tracking of concrete maintenance and working with right-of-way.
Job duties:
- Perform data entry and maintain accurate records
- Prepare vendor invoice packets
- Submit contract requests to City Contracting
- Assist in preparing quarterly reports
- Complete bonding inquiries
- Process minor work revisions for force account work (non-contract line items),
- Collect and file Job Hazard Analysis (JHA) forms, pre-job safety briefing (PSB) forms, equipment checklists as well as traffic control permits.
Skills:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- At least 2 years of experience in an office or administrative environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry
- Ability to follow established procedures and coordinate with internal departments such as Accounts Payable and Procurement
- Basic familiarity with using web-based systems or databased (training will be provided)
- Valid driver s license and reliable transportation to the worksite
All work will be done on the computer, so basic Microsoft Office Suite(Word, Excel and Outlook) is a necessity. Training to be provided on other systems as needed.
Placement: Contract 6 months with possible extention
Monday through Friday 8am-5pm
Pay: $22.04 - $26.46
