Administrative Assistant for a local Trust Company within a Law Office
Job responsibilities:
- Create an asset summary in MS Excel (list of assets from statements provided by clients) including account numbers, names, etc.
- Work with the clients to get their assets retitled into the name of their trust
- Follow up with companies and with clients to get confirmation that the assets have been transferred successfully.
- Handling specific client documents
- Completing forms
- Contacting clients to follow-up on necessary documentation
- Other administrative duties as needed
Requirements:
- Recent Administrative Assistant experience
- Prior experience with a multi-line phone and transferring calls
- Must have intermediate skills in MS Word and Excel
- Good phone etiquette with clients on the phone
- Ability to work independently and have strong organizational and time management skills
- Willingness to learn and be challenged
- Ability to multi-task, problem-solve and work in fast-paced environment
- Experience in the legal field (Estate Planning) is a plus
Long-term (approximately 2 months, but could extend)
Pay: $22.00-$23.00/hour (depending upon experience)
Schedule: 8:00 AM 5:00 PM (Mon-Thurs) and 8:00 AM 12:00 PM (Friday)
